Frequently Asked Questions:
What is a Mobile Notary, and how does it work?
A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to your location to notarize documents. Instead of visiting a notary’s office, you can schedule an appointment with us to come to your home, an office, hospital, or any other convenient location. Mobile notaries verify your identity, witness document signings, and apply their official notarial seal.
What do I need to prepare for a notary appointment?
To ensure a smooth notarization process, you should:
- Confirm with the notary if witnesses are required
- Bring a valid government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport)
- Ensure all documents are completed but unsigned (you must sign in front of the notary)
- Have all necessary signers present.
How much do mobile notary and RON services cost?
Notary fees vary based on state regulations and service type:
- Mobile notaries are subject to a travel charge in addition to the notarization fee.
- Remote Online Notarization has a flat fee per session.
- Loan signings usually have a higher fee due to the complexity of the documents.

What is Remote Online Notarization (RON), and is it legally accepted?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) allows us to notarize documents online using audio-video technology. The signer and notary do not need to be in the same location. RONs are legal in many U.S. states including Washington State. Always check with the receiving party to confirm if they accept electronically notarized documents.
What types of documents can a mobile notary or RON notarize?
A mobile notary or RON can notarize a wide range of documents, including (but not limited to): Vehicle title transfers, Real estate and loan documents, Power of attorney (POA) forms, Wills and trusts, Affidavits and sworn statements, and Business contracts
What is a loan signing, and why is a notary required?
A loan signing is the process of signing mortgage documents, including refinancing, home purchases, HELOCs, and loan modifications. A notary public, often a trained Notary Signing Agent (NSA), ensures that the borrower signs all required documents correctly and verifies their identity to prevent fraud.
